How to edit your COGS history in ProfitTree?

If you have input incorrect COGS value, you can easily fix it by editing the COGS history.

Here are the steps for the same.

Step 1:

Click the ">" arrow next to the product in the COGS Management section.

Step 2: Update the desired current Cost Period

Step 3:

Select the “COGS Period History” tab (next to “Current Cost Period”).

Step 4:

Click “Update Costs” to enter or update the COGS values for your desired date range.

• You’ll be able to define different cost values based on when the pricing was valid.

• This helps maintain historical accuracy for reports over time.
