How does ProfitTree manage VAT for your subscription if you're located in the European Union?

When making a purchase on ProfitTree, VAT is automatically calculated and added to your total. However, if you have a VAT ID, you may be eligible for VAT exemption. Here's how you can manage VAT charges and access related support

Adding Your VAT ID During Checkout: To ensure you aren’t charged VAT:

1. Proceed to Checkout

Begin the checkout process by selecting your desired subscription.

2. Enter Your VAT ID

During Step 2 of the checkout process, locate the payment details section and enter your VAT ID.

Note: This option may not be immediately visible, so check carefully.

Why may VAT still be charged?

If VAT is applied even after entering your VAT ID, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Invalid or Incorrect VAT ID: Ensure your VAT ID is accurate and valid in the VIES system.

  • Location Restrictions: Some countries or regions may have unique VAT regulations that require VAT to be charged, even with a VAT ID.
