What’s ProfitTree’s Refund and Cancellation Policy?

ProfitTree offers a freemium plan that can be used indefinitely without cost. Once you upgrade to a paid plan, the following refund and cancellation rules apply.

Refund Policy

Monthly Plans

  • Monthly plans are non-refundable

  • No grace period applies

  • Charges are final once billed

Lifetime Plans

  • Lifetime purchase has a 5 day grace period

  • Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after the 5 day grace period

Annual Plans

  • Annual plans include a 48-hour grace period

  • If an annual plan is purchased accidentally, a refund may be requested within 48 hours of the charge

  • Refund requests made after 48 hours will not be approved

No Partial Refunds

  • Refunds are not issued for:

    • Partially used billing periods

    • Missed cancellations

    • Downgrades or plan changes

Cancellation Policy

It is important to understand the distinction between canceling subscriptions to halt billing and requesting account or data deletion. Currently, ProfitTree does not offer a formal process for account deletion; users are advised to manage subscriptions via Paddle for stopping charges.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account

  • Cancellation stops future billing

  • Access remains active until the end of the current billing period

  • Cancelling does not trigger a refund for time already used To cancel your subscription, log into your Paddle account:

  • Navigate to the billing section within Paddle.

  • Locate your active ProfitTree subscription.

  • Follow the steps provided by Paddle to cancel the subscription.

It is the user’s responsibility to manage their subscription to avoid future charges. After a cancellation, you will continue to have access to your account and services until the end of your billing period. Ensure to monitor your subscription and cancel on time to prevent additional charges.

To ensure complete removal of your data, particularly payment-related information stored by Paddle, users must contact Paddle directly for data deletion requests. ProfitTree deletes its own customer data when users discontinue use, but Paddle handles payment processor information separately.

Important Notes

  • ProfitTree does not offer a trial period because the freemium plan is available indefinitely

  • Refund policies apply to subscriptions only and are separate from Etsy order refunds

Summary

ProfitTree provides a free plan with no time limits. Paid subscriptions are non-refundable except for a 48-hour grace period on annual plans. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to prevent future charges.

For users seeking complete data removal, subscription cancellation alone is insufficient—contacting Paddle for payment data deletion is necessary. ProfitTree users should monitor for future updates regarding account deletion options.
