How Do I Add a New Shop or Multiple Shops to ProfitTree?
ProfitTree allows you to connect more than one Etsy shop to your account. The number of shops you can add depends on your current plan. Pro Plan users can connect unlimited shops at no extra cost, while other plans allow connecting one shop by default but provide options for upgrading to unlimited shop connections.
ProfitTree ensures that each shop you connect is securely authorized using Etsy's API. This process guarantees that each shop remains operationally independent, with shop data kept entirely separate.
Connecting shops via ProfitTree does not result in any unintended association or linking of shops within Etsy’s system, maintaining full operational and data independence of each account.
Steps to Add a New Etsy Shop
Log in to your ProfitTree account
Open the My Shops dropdown in the dashboard
Click Add Etsy Shop
Follow the prompts to connect your Etsy account For users with the Unlimited Shops feature enabled, the 'Add Etsy Shop' option is located in the top-left area under your current shop name. Each shop is authorized through Etsy's API, ensuring secure and independent connections.
Once connected, ProfitTree will begin syncing data for the new shop.
Managing Multiple Shops ProfitTree uses a secure and independent connection process through Etsy’s API, ensuring there is no mingling of data between shops.
Each connected Etsy shop appears in the My Shops dropdown
You can switch between shops at any time from the dashboard
Data for each shop is tracked separately
Important Notes
Adding additional shops under the Pro Plan is included without extra cost
Other plans support one shop by default and allow purchasing an add-on for unlimited connections via a one-time upgrade
Initial data sync may take time depending on shop size
Shops can only be added if you have permission to connect them in Etsy
